Had a couple of hours of game time (3UG5). Quite a different racket to the Z-Force I. Feels lighter, and therefore feels like a faster swing speed. Head heaviness is similar. Overall gameplay is similar. Perhaps slightly easier to control net shots, particularly low backhand cross court drops. Perhaps slightly easier to access power (but power is the same). Slightly smaller head size, but barely significant - if you're mis-hitting, perhaps your technique/co-ordination isn't right to start off. Overall don't see it as an improvement over the Z-Force I - it's simply a slightly different racket. I like it.
I got the UK version of 3UG4 and played it for a few days. I think the Z Force I is head heavy than the Z Force II when you swing it. General it's easier to generate power (clear, drive, backhand) but I think my smash is less powerful compared to when I use Z Force I. May be I still need to get used to the racket and string (I'm using bg66 ultimax, I used to use nbg99).
Im sorry that im asking again, but is there no one who is experiencing a big loss in tension after 1 or 2 sessions of play in the zf2? ive never had the problem in my old z-force could someone elighten me on what maybe causing this? I post it here cause its racket related.. im sure... on the old z-force it took 2 weeks to only dropped 0.5lb to 1lb in tension where as this zf2 just drops after 1 or 2 sessions, probably by 2-4lb...:crying: Bg80power 28/30lb 110% stretch I play 5-6 sessions a week if its any help...
I think having it strung to higher tensions (26+) would result in more tension loss after usage. I've got BG66UM at 26lb but it doesn't feel as tight as it used to (a few weeks back) but I can't tell for certain that it's gone down to 24-25lb, say.
if you play that much at that tension, you should have 3-4 rackets in rotation. I can't see any string dropping 2-4lbs after only a few hours. Not even VS850 does that.
2lbs tension loss is reasonable but if it's only after 2 sessions then it's not, however you say you use BG80P in my experience this is a string that loses tension the least! have you been usingthe same stringer to string the rackets?
BG66UM tends to do that. It feels great for a week and a half/two weeks but goes dead after that. Hence why I switched back to ZM65, though I am tempted to try ZM62 with the Z Force II
The rackets are strung by me, i just think it maybe due to the humidity changes and temperature fluctuation, the weather in hong kong is very drastic at the moment... Also from my experience with BG80P on my z-force. Id agree with you on it doesnt loose tension that quickly
Yes it could be due to the humidity changes I strung my ZFII with NS660Ti at 27lbs and it has played about 30 hours court time and has now settled at roughly 25.5-26lbs
Just won a tournament today with this racquet ;3 play singles it was a mini tournament. Grade 9 boy singles 11-2 11-0 11-4 :333 the point system is different in my divisionals
Yeah I wish I could play up to 21 like I literally didn't break a sweat... I had to play with a sweater to be warm. I have a bigger tournament on the 16th :33333 , thank you
I had a brief session with this racquet again today (3U/G5, BG66um 26/27). More of the same, mostly, for me. Clears are effortless. Drives need more patience i.e. readjustment of timing of stroke. net play feels completely different from the ZF1. I still suspect that it is in part due to the BG66um which feels very different from the ZM65 or BG80 for that matter. Smashes are good, and accuracy is great. However, I had the feeling that the ZF1 had more pop on the smashes. Or maybe its just me...
Question for those who have used the ZF1 as well as the ZF2.... Do you think that the sweet spot on the ZF2 has moved vertically to a different place as compared to the ZF1? oh, I forgot to mention- fast drops with the ZF2 are pretty cool!
...i think bcoz of the smaller head size, and the different string and tension u used which made u felt differences.
Yeah I think the zf 1 sweet spot is a tad higher & the zf2 is smack right on the middle. So it moved down a bit.
