3UG5 Z-Force II arrived. Haven't tested it on court yet - just had a few swings of it strung with BG66UM - feels a bit lighter and seems to cut through the air slightly more smoothly than the 3UG5 Z-Force I. One thing's for sure, I'm glad I got the 3U, as I think the 4U would feel too light (I also own the 4U Z-Force I). Can't wait to test it on court.

    tungsten infused grommet

Just wondering how does the tungsten infused grommet actually function on this racquet? YONEX claimed that it will maximise the contact time between shuttle and the string... but how does it work??? Very interesting that yonex developing it, and it made the racquet looked gooooood and futuristic....

Not sure. Because i have no problem on using z speed. I think it is because of higher BP..
Yet, i will train again this week!

If your swing is too slow I think you would benefit from the z slash more. You will need a fast swim since the z force is extra stiff in order to flex it.

Not necessarily, if someone has a slow swing speed, going to a Z-Slash might not help.

dollargood, try different rackets on the market, because some rackets might suit you better than some others on this forum

He already has the z slash he wants to make a transition. I'm saying that the z slash would suit him better then then z force.

Did you try the ZF2 yet, if so how is it? I haven't had a chance to demo/try it, only one person in my club has it so far.

Yeah I did, BG 65 (black) at 26 lbs, clearing was obviously effortless, smashing was okay... I can produce harder ones with my ZF1, but this racquet is much quicker, I do not feel like it is much of an improvement. The tungsten infused grommets dulled the sound a bit too much I wasn't used to this semi bang sounds , I usually would smash all out and loud sounds would come out. Drive were perfect though just be careful that you don't do it with so much strength or it will go out. The feel is super solid though ((:). Overall I don't think this racquet is really a successor of the ZF1 but with more practice I can master it! The shaft is definitely stiffer then the zf 1 so more wrist work!

I also tried the z slash today as well and I think I liked it more then the zf2 , I'm quite awful at hitting the sweet spot consistently , I broke zymax 62 @ 22LBS yellow on z slash and BG 80 @ 24 LBS on Nanospeed 9900, I might just change to BG 65 to get used to hitting the middle.

BG65 is a kind of unpredictable string, it doesn't handle mishits very well, but good shots on the SS. As for the Z-Slash, the head is smaller, so that might explain why you couldn't hit the SS as often.

Anyways glad you're enjoying the racket, I'm on the lookout for another one, but I promised myself I would never exceed having more than 3 rackets at any given time. So until one gets sold or breaks, I got to hold out.

Ah I see my coach told me to consistently get my swing down first then the SS will come after :), thank you!, try to sell one, I have to stop buying racquets as I have 10 now so I'm saving up for grips, string, etc , I hope you get one soon!

If you play feather birds, nothing compares to it in cost :) , but it is the only way to play badminton. ;)
