    Wow, only 302? That's very un-Voltricky.

Being a 3U MX80 and 3U VTZF I user (I find both rackets equally good for everything in general), the 3U VTZF II sounds more and more like my kind of racket. Ordered one from Eric strung with BG66UM at 27 pounds, for $US210, including shipping and 5 RKEP G05 grips.

    Nice new stick, cobalt!

Your poor old Woven 7 is going to be gathering dust, I suspect. ;)

    Just a question for everyone

Any body experiencing alot of tension loss quicker than usual?

This is the 3rd time this racket is strung, 28x30lb bg80P, still looses tension faster than previous zforce...

It's a 3U, and the person I bought it from made a point of telling me that the 3U ZF2s are mostly in the higher 3U register, mostly around 89-90 grams. Other Sunrise buyers could check this out, maybe. That would affect the BP. Besides, the 4U tends to be more head-heavy, for obvious reasons.

The strange thing about it is, it doesn't play like a heavy 3U and very-stiff racquet. It is so goddam smooth and quick, it kinda makes be believe in myself again! :D
Haha! It's now officially my training racquet! :p

    my thoughts exactly

btw, got myself a second one today. And it's 300-301mm wet as well, exactly like the first one. the weight feels around the same, plays almost identical. I'm very much impressed by yonex, two blind buys and basically identical rackets as a result.

Going to order the 3u and 4u, just need to decide on strings. I only use bg80 power orange or white on my rackets. All these red or blue, black strings make the racket look good. Should I pick these colored strings instead? Or has anyone got a z force 2 with orange string to show what it would like?

For sure? Am i the only one who is terrified about that BP? In my mind, its ridiculous that the top of the range Voltric racket got only a BP of 301!! So there is no advantage to an ARC11 where i measured the same BP wet! I love my ZF 4U for its head-heaviness compared to my ARC11. So could it be worth to spend that money for such a pretender?? Sorry, but i am very concerned!! I feel myself constrained to buy an other ZF for backup!!

Cobalt, is your bp 302mm measured dry or with string and overgrip?

My 4UG5 ZFII measures at 307mm wet, this will be increased when i remove the current original grip+Overgrip and place cushion wrap + overgrip

i will be receiving a 3UG4 ZFII in the next few days and then a further 3 more 4UG5's that i will measure both dry and wet

measured wet, i.e. with string (BG66um) and overgrip (RKEP G11). I am "frugal" in my use of the overgrip, and snip off the excess after wrapping up to the base of the cone with 1/3 overlap. I hope this helps in your 0.01g calculations! ;)

picard500, I would expect the 4u racquet to be significantly more head-heavy than the 3u, so it will play very differently as well. This is the same as with the ZF1. There was an excellent review thread on the ZF1 around here from a UK-based member, and the OP had made some great observations and also in relation to the AT700. I'll see if I can find it and provide the link here again.

    edit: here it is:
