It's obvious Lin Dan's speed and retrieving ability not as good as before, not yet.

i think JOJ should concentrate on each rally rather than trying to take easy points. they just don't work against a player as good as the great LD

JOJ takes match 21-16...not like I didn't expect this. LD isn't at his best. I would say that this would be a very good chance for him to nab another SS title as both LCW and tago are not at their best judging from how they played just now.

Okay JOJ takes it. New world order. As for LD, back to the gym to reconditioned those gluteals. He will come back with guns blazing

It looks like Chen Long's fears were unfounded, although with the way he's been playing lately, he probably wouldn't stand much chance against Jan either.

The way LD has been stretched by so many players since his comeback makes it not so surprising that his 'luck' will run out one time or another.

JOJ and Tago prove that they belong to top 4 of the world

When LCW was down in 3rd game, somebody said that LCW is fearing about sunday. Lol. Please come down to earth.

Meanwhile, jan played brilliantly to win the match.

After such a long break, twice at that, no matter how super he is, Lin Dan will still need at least 6-9 mths, if not a year, to be back at or near (95%) to his best.

Chen Long may probably be regretting losing to Hu Yun.

JOJ has beaten LD before so we already know that he has the capability to do so.

Jan playing such aggressive power play. While I'm younger than you let's rev it to the redline all the ways shall we?

And unfortunate for LinD, he didn't have enough brake power today to stop the onslaught from JoJ. Credit for Jan for his mental attitude to play it cool, consistent, and positive throughout the match

I trust Lin Dan will take something positive out of this defeat. Had he pulled through again, he would most likely be continuing the same manner for quite sometime until he's defeated by someone. This loss should galvanize him to put in a little extra to quickly bring his game up to full speed. He will be ready for the Asian Games, I'm sure.

Let's hope JOJ play the same way against LCW on Sunday, assuming they meet.

Meanwhile, Porntip after narrowly losing G2, 22-20, is trailing far behind in the 3rd, 7-18 atm.

Really won't matter how Jan plays on Sunday, to be honest...with CL out and especially Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei will be playing utterly unfettered, and I just don't see it happening for Jan although I'll be hoping against hope.
