Can't wait to see Ahsan/Hendra vs. LYD/YYS and Hayakawa/Endo in the final.

I have replied to nilesh123 even before the draw was released.
And the list had all the names whom I mentioned. If the names included in the list was mentioned by me, I think that should not be a flaw. Later so many indians had withdrawn and the draw had shown the original competitors.

Meanwhile Saina, p.c.thulasi withdrawn. So many indians withdrawn. Why so?.

Maybe they can't get a good hotel or dislike Japanese food.

tight budget? As you know the expenses in Japan especially in Tokyo, are very expensive!

Can it be something to do with sponsors?

If Indian players were using Yonex, surely they would go.

But if their sponsor is Li Ning, they might prefer to concentrate on other tournaments.

This year edition JPN Open SS is more exciting for home shuttlers, following success story to be Thomas Cup winner, they should be motivated to do best in their homeground SS.

Yeah. . Absolutely but at the same time they would be tested by their opponents and immense pressure of fulfilling the demands and aspirations in front of them...

Saina is sponsored by Yonex and Sindhu by LiNing. Gopichand was saying on that day that they want to concentrate on commonwealth games, Asian Games etc than participating in all tournaments. They might have thought to give sindhu an opportunity to get more experience.

Saina, earlier, in an interview said that she wants to be in optimal form for the big events scheduled in the latter part of the year and hence would occasionally skip some Super Series.

Hm....this is because gopi sir wants gold in CWG AND a medal in Asian....But hope she plays the Star Australia open...where she might face WSX (battle of my favourites :) )which will give her even more experience against Chinese top singles!!
