But i would like to talk about Du and Rajiv. thats the second time in a row that rajiv has beaten Du. Whats up with that? did anybody watch that match? I want to know whats happening on court
That game wasn't televised and I can't find it anywhere, but no doubt it might turn up as a screener or something in the upcoming days. I'm curious too, because he was convincingly outplayed by Momota today and I can't picture Momota beating Du.
look, i'll stop talking about this. I'm sorry, it's just how I feel. I know everyone has their own opinion. I'll start a thread else where and we can share our opinions there. I'm sorry for changing the topic in this thread
I know, that's what I was thinking. I think some of the Chinese players have first round fright. they get nervous in the first round. Chen Long ALWAYS struggles in the first round. He lost to a 17 year ol Japanese boy once in two games in the first round of something. also lets not forget that ridiculous match with Kevin Cordon in the first round of the World Champoinships in 2011.
Go talk about it elsewhere you freakin thread hijackers! yeah it's understandable to get qualifying round jitters. Pedersen/ Juhl should've won, and I have no idea how Ousejph beat Du....all adds to the fun I guess! now we just have to see if Lee and Long get bundled out tonight for things to get REALLY interesting
i think juhl feel guilty and pedersen feel the pain throughout the game . Hence the lost. I know I am when I hit my opponent (with the bird of coz hehe)
Du hasn't been on form. Rather than Rajiv playing better, a downturn in Du's form is a better explanation. Rajiv won't admit that of course Especially to the english press.
Geez, I come here to read the news and gossips about the good old ALL England Championship but ended up wasting my time reading some crap, totally off topic.
I hate to point out yet another mistake in an article on badminton by Indian media. They don't seems to learn from their numerous mistakes in the past. here is the link to the article http://sports.ndtv.com/othersports/...rs-quarter-finals-of-all-england-championship "The seventh-seeded Indian, who was playing the American for the first time, lost the first game on extra points before pulling off the second. Then at 19-all in a closely-fought third game, Saina held her nerve to take the next two points to edge out her opponent, who (Beiwen Zhang) in the first round had an easy win over Germany's World No.11 Juliane Schenk." It's clear whoever writes the article just make wild guesses and assumptions hoping no one will notice.
After the game my wife and I went to eat at a restaurant (the same restaurant where we got a table next to Axelsen after his loss to CL the day before) and ended up at a table just behind Pedersen/Juhl. I saw Juhl pay for both of them. Seems only fair
