I saw a recent domestic match on YouTube between SY and WYH in which SY won quite convincingly, so I wouldn't be surprised if SY repeats her success here. It's got to rankle being still considered a member of the B-team when you've been around for a while. As for MS, I'm still betting on SWH to go far. I'd venture that we may also see a new face in the WS final.
What a come-from-behind win for Chrisnanta/Vanessa against the 6th seed Kido/Bernadeth. They were 10-15 down before taking 7 pts on the trot, then held 4 matchpoints before finally wrapping it up 21-18 in the decider. Awaiting them in the QF would probably be the INA 2nd seed, Tantowi/Natsir, a difficult proposition.
Looks like LXR is struggling with her form, lost the 1st set, 21-14, to Minatsu. I noticed that not only was LXR error-prone yesterday with Busanan, she was also too aggressive in her attacks, unnecessarily so it seemed to me. She could be going through a transition phase.
