I think LCW is well known as "jago kandang" before 2008. He mostly won at home tournament. Maybe that's why he was more well known than other Malaysian badminton players but of course we do not know whether they award Datuk from entertaining aspect, familiarity with Malaysian people aspect, aura, social contributing and etc. Who else are Datuk ? Misbun ? Wong Peng Soon ? Eddy Choong ?
