It is typical of you taking some facts without considering other facts and concluding something.

I do not want to argue on whether AE is considered important or not.

What I want to point out is that you conclude that getting datuk is based on 1 single achievement.

I do not know the criteria to be datuk but I do not think it is based on 1 criteria.
There might be others that we do not know.

Before 2008, I can list many things that LCW has achieved better than HH or TBH/KKK, even if we want to exclude his Olympic performance

Another classic examples of lapse in logic.

I think LCW is well known as "jago kandang" before 2008. He mostly won at home tournament.

Maybe that's why he was more well known than other Malaysian badminton players but of course we do not know whether they award Datuk from entertaining aspect, familiarity with Malaysian people aspect, aura, social contributing and etc.

Who else are Datuk ? Misbun ? Wong Peng Soon ? Eddy Choong ?

During my time, there was another type of "jaguh". We call it "Jaguh Kampung" - Village Champion.
    Anyone knows who is it?
