Hong Wei needs to work on his nerves. He made it to 2 Super Series finals in a row. He actually played very well throughout most of this tournament until the final match. Then he got too nervous and made so many errors.

That's why the CHN pair is susceptible to drives and flat play... their height can be used against them.

Not an easy match definitely..plus the fact that CB-HW have just been paired up. GVS-LKW have been together for years.

You guys took it too seriously.

    Professional sports in entertainment.

Nothing wrong with adding spice into it.

It's okay, I read "his" comments (not Cheung by the way) knowing it's just comic relief. Had a few laughs already hehe! Anyway, looks like Malaysia very likely to come away with 2 wins tonight. Would be shocked if LCW loses.

Next match will be great too! H2H is 5-5. I sort of hope China wins this, as Ma Jin and Xu Chen have been coming 2nd best too often lately - feel sorry for them!

That's why taller players have problems with flat exchanges and drives, except of course CY-FHF

congrats. now we have a successor to KKK/TBH.

both have potential, but need to contain their excitement and hopefully not too much pride develop as a result. otherwise, they will go down the same path as their seniors.

and this pretty much seals the fate of KKK/TBH. with a fresh SS winner, no one will remember KKK/TBH anymore. they better find a new job.

as for Chai/Hong. their performance was pretty bad. esp Hong. Chai was ok but not stellar either.

and agree, none of the 4 on court today have good technique. it wasn't a top quality match.

off to bed now. have an early ride in 6 hours.

enjoy the rest of the matches!

Although I'm happy that finally a Malaysian MD won, I can't help but feel irritated by my countryman's antics during the match (Goh V Shem). Asking the crowd to cheer louder is okay, but I didn't like his taunting of the Chinese players by pretending to hit the shuttle when it was going out or asking them to 'bring it on' when there was a rally where they kept lifting to him. Nevertheless, he was probably the best player on court today.

LKW's serves were horrible, but his net play was pretty good.

This pair can only go far if they keep their feet planted on the ground. This is the first time I seen them act like that, they didn't even do any of those antics against Rian/Angga - What's their deal today?

Lim's serve is horrible. Goh's more reliable.
