Kento and Axelsen are playing each other right now. 7-all in the first set.

And Rumbaka took the first set playing Jan O, 21-14, and now it's 5-1!

FHF/Zhang Nan look in devastating form, taking G1 in just 12 minutes.

Zhang is really dominating at the net so far, forcing the Kim's to lift over and over again.

Ugh. Kim2 is not having a good start to the year. Losing the first set 13-21 to FHF/ZN. I'm fairly certain they can still win the match though.

Axelsen is leading 20-12 in the first set! Did not excpect that!

They are really not finding the range of the lift Kim2.

Man. I didn't see the whole match but what I saw was really not good all. Felt really strange. Lift after lift out...

Wow, Zhang Nan played beautifully. He was constantly pushing the shuttle into the open court, a very different style from other Chinese MD. Why hasn't this guy been playing more MD in 2013?

considering that this is his first MD match in a long time, this was a remarkable performance, beating the very good Kim/Kim in just 27 minutes.

True, Zhang Nan did look a lot like LYD in his match. His smash couldn't really penetrate the Kim2 defense, but it was well placed and could still score points or setup FuHF.

ZN returned serve extremely well, intercepted a lot of shots, and blocked the net very well.

Really want to see more of ZN/FHF.

    Kento saved the 2nd set with 24 - 22!

    Meanwhile MZ is against Parupalli.
Would like to see JOJ vs. MZ tomorrow :)
This maybe would be preview of the European Champions Final this year

On court 5 Tien Minh will be playing Shon Wan Ho. That could just as well be a QF in some tournaments but now neither of the players are seeded! Though draw for both of them.

P.Kashypa takes the first set 21-19. Kento and Axelsen are really close 12-13 to Axelsen. Shon Wan Ho manages to get the break and now it's 12-9.

The good thing on MZ is, that he'll never give up until the match is completely over!
    10 points lead by Kayshap 14 - 4. Now it's 14 - 9.
    Come on Marc!!!

Zhang Nan with Fu Haifeng may be just the right combination for CHN MD, I hope so.

Aiya, Porntip's knee still injured, apparently. I was looking forward to a fascinating match. Hope she recovers in time for the All England.
