Interesting... The switched pairs Rijal/Vita and Praveen/Debby have a chance to meet each other in the second round.

INA also represented by 6 WS players here : Firdasari, Millicent, Lindaweni, Aprilia, Bellaetrix and Hera Desi ;)

Indeed, independent v Pelatnas pair, both of them will take on home XD at R/32.

I may sound pessimist, but I predict LCW will NOT win the crown - Jan 3rd, 2014 prediction

Isn't shopping in CHN cheaper, besides the stuff in KL is CHN made. Also, the players have to lug the stuff home, too troublesome. Unless you are talking pasar malam barang:D
Jokes aside, the 2013 resting period after OLY12 was over, it is back to business this year. I would agree with you that the CHN players will be doing CNY shopping in KL but they are shopping for gold starting with MO14 to take the MS crown from LCW and to test the MD field. As for WS, WD and XD, the golds are already safely in the bag...3 golds before MO14 even starts, my prediction.;)

Does anyone know what time the final (on the 19th) will start in UK/local time? As it turns out, I'll be arriving at the airport on that very same day and am loath to miss what I'm hoping will be very exciting, well-matched finals!

If the schedule goes like last year's, the final will start at 2pm local time (UTC+8).

Lilyiana/Towi can still contend in XD though. So XD is not safely in the bag for CHN.
