Do you mean Tuesday May 27? Lucky to all living in the countries with many religions with their own holidays. In the US, Monday May 26 is Memorial Day holiday.

As far as I'm concerned, the writing is on the wall...bye-bye, India!

Ugh, it's going to be a snoozefest tomorrow between China and Japan. I'm sure the many knowledgeable badminton fans in India will be staying away in droves to show their support, too. How generous of them!

Of course its "Do or Die".

That why, "die, die must win" when the Japanese made a comeback after a disastrous 2-nil deficit, at the brink of defeat.
    Otherwise no final appearance!

JPN at one point 4 points away from losing this tie and here they are 4 points away from winning

Too bad, IND doesn't have a reasonably good WD2 or else the JPN pair would be the one under more pressure to deliver.

Wow! Maeda is uncharacteristically insensitive when she smashed the bird on SD's head for the final point.

Japanese eyes are smiling now. :):):)

Indeed. Though india's loss is not an upset. Think about thomas cup where they upset top seeds by 3-0 . Thrashed them. It's really a wonderful thing to badminton.

IND Uber Team do a good job reaching the SF as targeted! Competition is tough, and being in the semis has been a breakthrough achievement. JPN team are simply better tonight, they deserve their place in finals....as do their men's team.

Yeah, today's indeed a big day for the JPN teams. It's up to them to further prove themselves tomorrow (Sat) and the day after tomorrow (Sun) :D

The land of smiles, land of mountains is it peculiar to Asians? I mean I have heard of the land of the rising sun but others seem so generic to me :p
Sorry for my unawareness or having been born in a village...
