This is the most aggresive match for Saina in 2014 so far.

A good victory for SN after a bad patch. Hope she would continue this form. It's good that she won in straight sets because still her doubles match awaits which could be crucial one.

Saina in fine form. Intanon's trademark shots and deceptiveness not very effective still, at least not against Saina today.

On the contrary, the CHN WS, all three of them, namely, LXR,WYH and WSX, are playing below their usual level so far - they have better settle in fast or else they might be in for an unpleasant surprise seeing how SN and IR are performing just now, not forgetting Tee Jing Yi.

In G2, Chen Long at 17-9 inexplicably took his foot off the pedal ( a bad habit of his when comfortably in the lead?) allowing CTC a 7-pt streak; luckily he recovered towards the end to finish the match in straight sets.

Can Tanongsak play vs. INA tomorrow? If Tanongsak can't play, I sincerely hope INA will field Ihsan Maulana as MS3.
Berry/Ricky should also play vs. Sudket/Patiphat. I am sure INA can take at least 2 Singles and all 2 Doubles.

Many doubles players are known to play two matches in the same day. I think they are trained enough to last for two matches, but still in comparison to their opponents will be more exhausted.

Sindhu is attacking very well and Porntip is giving her too many attacking opportunities instead of initiating more of the attack herself.

India has a good chance to win if PVS win this point.

Sindhu is on a high after Saina's opening win which also lessens her pressure considerably, I don't think Porntip can turn the match around.

French doing well just about to tie it up at 1 match all. Still going to be tough for them to get the 3 they need but seem to be excelling as a team in this competition
