2014 BWF WORLD Junior Championships (Alor Setar, 7th-18th April 2014)

Definitely INA would take this GD. I'm surprised Busanan playing GD. Was it THA strategy to seal the first three or four matches?

A better performance from the THA pair in the second-set as they trail 7-11. 10 more pts for Team INA to reach the Final yet again!

Lam isn't in this squad because injury so BO is good choice more another player.

Team INA is through to the Final for the 2nd year in a row as Rosyita Eka Putri Sari/Apriani Rahayu beat Puttita Supajirakul/Busanan Ongbumrungpan in 2 easy sets: 21-9, 21-13 in just 31 mins.

They will now await the winner of JPN vs CHN, likely to be CHN as their GD pair is now 11-4 ahead in the first-set.

That's too risky I think, play Busanan as doubles player. Why didn't they play their second pair of GD?

2nd pair is so weaker than BO/Puttita ,they played with Dutch GD to 3 game that why coach choose BO play double .
before this event THA didn't expect to take any medal from team event but THA junior took bronze medal was so good enough

It's INA vs CHN in the Suhandinata Cup Final.

It will take a huge miracle for INA to win the Cup. We will need super-human performances in XD, BD, and BS.

GL to Ina jr vs mighty Chn..

They already exceeded expectations by reaching finals so hopefully they can learn something or maybe steal one or two rubbers although thats not likely

Yeah I agree Chen Qingchen and Huang Kaixiang are something

Agree, INA team should play relax style in final against the fave CHN. After both finalists finished semis yesterday with same overall score 3-2, will it repeat 3-2 for today's final? Most likely CHN will take revenge over their losing last year and seal gold medal.

Congrats to bronze medalists, JPN and THA :) No play-off for bronze medal match like previous editions.

The players who played yesterday will play again today, except for Jonatan Christie. He's expected to deliver 1 pt for INA (probably the sole pt we can win).

CHN takes the first-pt after Huang Kaixiang/Chen Qingchen beat Mohd Rian Ardianto/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari in 3-sets. A spirited display from the INA pair though, in forcing rubber-set and pushing the reigning Asian and World Junior Champion all the way to the end.

Come on Jo! I almost lost hope when he was trailing 3-10 in the 2nd game. Now he is leading 19-15. Good fighting by Jonathan!
