The massive defeats for home shuttlers yesterday as INA only represented by three slots in last eight and has secured 1 semi ticket through all INA affairs in MD. Another one last four spot is expected will coming from World Champion Ahmad/Natsir who take on The Adcocks this evening.

Badminton powerhouse CHN has booked 4 semifinal tickets through MS (Chen L v Chen YK), MD (Liu/Qiu v Fu/Zhang), WD (Tian/Zhao v Luo Twins) and XD (Xu/Ma v Lu/Huang) while KOR also has 1 semi place through WD (Jung/Kim v Lee/Shin).

LIVE TV (court 1, 01.30pm local time) matches :

    1) Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan (INA) v Gideon Markus Fernaldi/Markis Kido (INA)
    2) Jang Ye Na/Kim So Young (KOR) v Christinna Pedersen/Kamilla Rytter Juhl (DEN)
    3) Lee Young Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong (KOR) v Tan Boon Heong/Tan Wee Kiong (MAS)
    4) Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock (ENG) v Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir (INA)
    5) Lee Chong Wei (MAS) v Hans Kristian Vittinghus (DEN)

Li XR v Nehwal, Son WH v Jorgensen and Kim KJ/Kim SR v Lee SM/Tsai CH should be intriguing QF matches to watch.

For INA viewers, Trans7 will only broadcast 5 matches, can't enjoy badminton LIVE from Star Sports because INA is the host :(

3 setter in 46 min. No fun to watch :/
Good that I just started watching and didn´t wake up earlier. The only match I really enjoy to watch with Ahsan/Setiawan is against Lee/Yoo because they can challange them on the serve and return and somehow this results in longer and more interesting rallies.

I'm hoping for Nichaon Jindapon to win. All the hard word that she's done hopefully doesn't turn out to be someone else's benefit.

A close shave for Ma/Tang. Hadn't expected Sari/Yao to play so well, a pity they lost two matchpoints and then the deuce in the 3rd set to go down in defeat.
