    Wow how time flies!

At 2, she's more adorable and can interact better with daddy and mummy. :)

I think the all-China WD finals turned out to be the best match. All the others paled in comparison.

The MS SF match between Son and LCW was also very good.

Yup, same outcome through same players with last year WChampionships :)

Dejavu for both pairs, what a coincidence!

First match of five finals is the longest duration final and gave us some thrilling at decider, rare occasion of WD match. Both pairs performed really good but at the end the experienced Wang/Yu prevailed.

Ahsan/Setiawan finally grabbed All England title, the match was so tense with only 2 points difference in each game. INA must waiting 11 years to taste AE MD title after Candra/Sigit won in 2003.

Wang Shixian confidence seems back to the top, she can win major title after quite long time shadowed by her two compatriots Li XR and Wang YH.

Lee CW proved he's better than Chen L in AE final this time. The too defensive Chen Long lost to world #1, he produced some uncharacteristic errors while Lee CW was more aggresive and accurate in most of his shots. Pretty anti-climax MS final after Lee CW v Son WH tight semifinal clash.

Ahmad/Natsir played superbly at the right time after struggling in previous rounds. Their nemesis can't do too much to stop INA pair attacks.

Two defending champions retained their titles here and two former champions reclaim their AE crown. Thrice for Lee CW, Wang/Yu and hat-trick for Ahmad/Natsir. Congrats for all champions :)

To be fair both the TC & SC are team events.

It is good if team members can win their matches but it is still no good if overall the team still lost.

To each his own and I will not delve in it.

I didn't watch the whole match, only the ending stages where there were two occasions MJ should have smash instead of blocking the shot. If she had done that it would have been a good match because she and partner could have won. I was supporting them.:D

Thus lies a contradiction - you claim the opinion for a great ladies doubles final is biased, yet you didnt watch the majority of the match..... Hmmm.

Actually, I didn't watch it either but I haven't claimed it was good or not. ;)

Yup, the question and answer are both in your post.

Oh, don't worry it won't be his final appearance. Where there's more money to be made, that one will follow.

it seems like LCW's game has changed drastically, his demeanor is loose and confident, not frantic and nervous like before. i was very very impressed. his shots are very accurate, especially his cross court shots, hitting the line almost all the time. what precision, shoot, i'm still in awe even now as i write while think back of the game when i watched it last night on youtube!!! bravo to LCW!!!

Technically, it's not a fault (I think). In slow mo, apparently the shuttle has crossed the net before CL hit it. But the umpire has no benefit of slow mo and stop-motion replay, so I don't blame him. It's really cutting it fine.

Indeed. Umpiring is a tough task. And you get people jumping on your back over these split second decisions. Video review may come in the future when the stakes are raised I.e. a point given mean a prize money difference of hundred thousand dollars.
