Boonsak Ponsana is amazing, a phenomenon; he gets better with age, like wine;of course, I'm exaggerating but you get my drift.

I'm sure his match with Lee Chong Wei tomorrow will be a thriller to watch. Absolutely scintillating, I suspect.

The problem is LCW knows BP's game inside out. Their last meeting, BP ended up being massacred, not even bones left (just kidding); hope it's different this time.

Yes, I'm aware of all that...where's the sarcastic smiley icon when you need it?! Maybe I should have gone, absolutely scintillating, I suspect...NOT! :p

Back in the world of WS, I see that Mitani has taken out Bae. Well, that was certainly a hard fought second set from both girls. In the interest of good badminton, let's be glad that Mitani will meet WSX tomorrow and not Bae since WSX has a 10-0 (!) H2H over Bae.

I thought Kido could have return the flick serve at match point.

Right. For all we know, Bae YJ may be struggling inside her during the match with MM, all the time asking herself,'Should I play to win or not?', not relishing the prospect of meeting WSX again to go through the agony for the nth time.

OT: The World Chess Championship Match has just concluded minutes ago, the press conference is still ongoing - we now have a new world chess champion in 22-year-old Norwegian, Magnus Carlsen, who dominated the match beating the reigning world champion, Vishy Anand, from India.

BC was not responding between about 5.20 MAS time. I press the "post quick reply" button a few times, hence you see my post repeating on page 11.

    It's ok now.

Adcock/Ellis went one better than at the China Open to advance to the semifinal beating the strong INA MD pair, Fernaldi/Kido. They will be up against Kim/Kim of KOR tomorrow while the WC Ahsan/Setiawan faces their archrival, KOR Lee YD/Yoo YS.

Hope to see the ENG pair in the final.

I like BP but I think he can check out tomorrow and confirm his flight unless he wants to remain in HK and do some sightseeing and Christmas shopping.

The H2H between SK and KT is 6-0 in the former's favour. Will KT win for the first time tonight?

It's crazy. Chris Adcock is first on court tomorrow and was last on court tonight. He's the only person in two events.

And BOTH of his 2 matches are in the first semifinal "round"! It's insane! At least give him the first and last match of the day or something!
