With Zhao YL and Tian Q getting into each other's way so often and Zhao so erratic, they are lucky to win in the end. Unlucky for the JPN.

I find both of the singles matches very interesting. Has WSX ever played RI in CBL?

WSX is playing well. The placements on those smashes...

RI is not looking so comfortable. WSX feels like the one controlling the play so far, and 4 smash winners according to the live-score as well. 11-4 WSX

WSX is still playing really well. Felt like RI was trying to inject pace at the beginning of the 2nd. 8-6 RI.

And Tago got the first one 21-19, seems to be a very close match.

Can't believe what I've just witnessed - WSX reading IR's game better than WYH did last week and the surprising part is she can smash now.

Poor Ratchanok.. She has been struggling to beat Wang Shixian and Wang yihan continuously for many times.. Hope she completely recovered from injury??

    Noo, Rat out :/
But she didn´t look too puzzled. Maybe she is looking forward to some shopping in Paris :p

Well played by WSX, somehow she seemed even faster than RI. Especially the cross smash from the backhand corner won her many points...

BP lost the last 12 times they played, and only got ONE game out of the 12 matches from the world No 1.

    oops.

At first I thought IR would reassert herself in G2, regroup and take the next two sets but WSX continue to move and counterattack well, putting pressure on IR, forcing a few unforced errors and even catching her opponent by surprise in suddenly bringing the shuttle down on a few occasions. Well, it takes one deceptive player to understand another. Certainly a well-deserved and sweet victory for WSX to oust the reigning WC.

Yeah, LCW reads Boonsak like a book. I'm not surprised he sweeps him aside once again for the umpteenth time.

You are certainly a keen observer, hats off to you for daring to predict a Wang Shixian victory over Intanon R.:)

I imagine if WSX sharpens her smashes a bit more, she may become a formidable force once again, perhaps better than she ever was.

Bit surprised that Nitya/Greys can steal 1 set from mighty WXL/YY

But I believe Chn will win in 3
