Picked a bad time to look away from the screen and missed what caused Gill Clarke to issue exclamations of shock...anyone have any idea what was the reason? It happened during the break after the 2nd game and I think it involved something that the Danes did vis-a-vis the umpire.

Edited to add: Never mind, I just read the above post; I hope that he was wearing knickers underneath! LOL!

Boe took his shorts off, he was wearing black trunks underneath so no biggy. You'd see more at a swimming meet.

That's a first. Was he wearing anything underneath? Or least his shirt was long enough to cover up?

Last year at Hong Kong Open, Juliane Schenk pulled her jersey up to wipe her face. Her bra was revealed. It caused an uproar.

This was shitty umpiring. I can imagine umpiring such a match is hard but this was not a good umpire.

All the way through I couldn't work out who I wanted to win the match, so kinda feel confused now instead of happy/sad. Feels weird

Definitely not true, the danes earned it for keep delaying the matches between points.

This is a horrible umpire. If you give cards out, you do it early in the 1st set to get the players to respect you. You don't give a red card out late in the third set in a tight match with only a 2 point difference, making the set a one point difference. The Danish media would have been all over this red card if the Boe/Mortgensen lost the match.

Hope this umpire doesn't see a SS again. They should keep her at GP or lower level events.
