On the whole, WSX didn't do too badly, only faltered at the final hurdle.

Actually, she has more smash winners yesterday against Mitani, a rising star. Today , for some reason, she has no confidence to smash and prefers drop shots and clears almost all the time. When Sung already got the hang of it, WSX should have realized it's time to mix her shots to make them less predictable.

You mean 'Wind Cloud' i.e. Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng? But they are at the tail end of their career, esp with Cai's age - that's the concern. That's why I think for the moment, this KOR pair LYD/KSH is the most promising while CHN continues to experiment with their new pairings in the hope of finding the right combination.

ZYL dashed out to get a racket for ZN. she got 2 rackets in her hand before she handed one to ZN. and then ZN failed to throw the old one out of the court boundary.

But SJH has been steady if not spectacular with her ranking position. This win may do her confidence a world of good, and with her improved strength and net-play she can make it to the top 5. And remain there for a long while, as she's only 21 years yet...

This doubles match is esp entertaining with those funny, weird unusual things happening; really liven up the atmosphere for an All-CHN affair.

I must say this is the best xu/ma have played against ZN/ZYL in awhile. 18-12 to them

Yeah, that's them alright. And they might be at the tail-end of their careers, but I believe that they will soldier on for another 3-4 years... possibly retiring after the Olympics 2016.

Gill and Danish commentator are egging xu Chen in to hit 300kph haha.On another note, this match hasn't been predictive as xu/ma are looking the solid pair right now
