HBJ is at it again in the first round match against Juan Gu.

One game down and 8:16 down in the second game. Won the next 10 points to get one game back and up 20:12 in the third. Managed to squander 5 match points before finally winning.

Someone should tell this kid stop playing with fire.

What a stupid umpire he is?? correcting the line calls in favour of chinese players does not look good at all. Umpire could not correct the call when he is not able to see it when it happens in the opposite side of his chair. But he did it to favour his home country. But not enough to save his players from losing to malaysian XD pair.

It just shows how talented and resilient HBJ is at such a young age!

Despite her greater experience, GJ was unable to capitalize on G2 when she led 7 points at one stage only to be overtaken from 16-all and was never able to take the match when they levelled at 21-all.

G3 was a disaster for GJ as she trailed all the way from 5-all onwards and was unable to close the gap thenceforth. HBJ seems to have boundless energy and stamina just like Akane Yamaguchi.

BP's defeat cannot be considered as upsets anymore. He is steadily declining. Sad.

Frst round loss after the gold medal at the FO. Nice consistency, Jan... Although even likes of Chen Long suffer from it greatly.
