the same team who won 3 title in ajc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_Junior_Badminton_Championships
I have ever said that, this year, INA Junior is weak... not good... I should eat my words seems impossible for them to improve in just some months... just for example, Jojo Christie who is only 16 yo. who dare to predict that he can handle such a big pressure in WJC team event ? last 2 years we have some very good potential players even in singles... though, they produced bad team event result
OMG...after Nitya/Greys famous victory last night, now this.... I'm just over the moon atm....yay Christie Jonathan and Hanna are best Ina jr singles have in long time Good luck in finals, and most importantly keep your dreams alive, juniors
last year wjc, china only able to win 1 title(team event, despite full force) now, they lost in semi final of team event, let see how china perform in individual event.
It's big shock to stun mighty CHN this time in semifinal, credit to INA team Yeah, we'll see CHN juniors in individual event
Unbelievable...I thought INA would only steal 1 or 2 pts....and once I saw Kevin/Arya lost to the scratch-pairing of Liu/Zheng, I thought it's all-over. Who would have thought that the 2 singles: Hanna Ramadini and then Jonatan Christie would salvage the situation and made it 2-1, both matches in straght-sets. The loss of GD was to be expected and the decider would have to be the XD match between Kevin/Masita against Huang/Chen. They were bronze-medalist at the AJC this year. Kevin/Masita gave false hope in the first-set, leading 11-7 only to lose it 19-21. The second-set went INA way too initially and they were leading big time....only for the lead to be pegged back to 19-16. Luckily, they wrapped it up 21-19. The rubber-set was a ding-dong battle. The INA pair led 12-7, only to trail 12-15 as the CHN pair won 10 straight-pts. It would have been nerve-wrecking...but the INA pair went on their own run of 9 straight-pts to seal it 21-15. INA 3 CHN 2 in a Team Event. When was the last time we saw this scoreline? Whatever the result tomorrow, I am proud of the juniors' achievement today! Let's go and win the Suhandinata Cup tomorrow with another committed performance against KOR.
