Although Liu/Qiu are quite impressive on court, but IMO i do not think they make a great pair yet. Liu/Qiu are very fast and aggressive on court. Their style of play reminds me of a saying "Attack is the best defence". They are very offensive and try to win the points very quickly. They like to engage their opponents in a fast flat play around the net/mid-court area and are always looking to pounce on any opportunities to kill off near/top of the net. However, if their opponents are able to avoid this type of flat play, drag Liu/Qiu into longer/slower rallies, using angles/dropshots to push them out of their favourite formation and force the lifts, it appear that opponents are able to win the rally fairly easy. Setiawan/Ahsan manage to do that with much success until the 2nd half of G3 where costly mistakes start creeping in. Being quick around the net and aggressive are definitely important qualities that players should posses. However, to be truly great players like CF/FHF, LYD/JJS, you need to have more just these qualities and a more varied style of play. Just my two cents worth
