Taufik Hidayat’s swansong at the 2013 AE came earlier than anticipated at the hands of Sho Sasaki losing 16-21, 11-21. Will LYB chuck her out now that she is losing her luster as he did WYH who had to earn her comeback? WYH (S3), by the way, was bundled out by the unheralded LF. The same fate was almost meted out to LCW (S1) by WWK (U). He just scrapped through beating the latter 13-21, 21-6, 23-21. Hopefully, he will do better in the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] round.

FYI, TTY collapsed badly in G2 and lost confidence. Rat was getting a lot back but it was a poor quality match with mistakes galore from both players
