Both are as short. U can imagine the speed these short players have to deal with. Amazing. ;)

    The million dollar question:

Who will LYB pick to face Bae Youn Joo on Saturday?

    Wang Xin or Wang Shixian

    It's the final countdown!!!!

    I bet it's Wang Xin.

WSX has obviously been sidelined, she played herself out of it here and the OG too ,I think.

Yawn! In the end it was easy street for CHN as they completely shoved THA aside. They will be hungry to devour KOR in the final.

KOR, who also demolished JPN, won't be relinquishing the Uber cup without a tough tussle.

Don't worry, I put the word "men" in quotation marks to signal unusual usage, to alert readers that I used the term in an ironic,non-standard or other special sense.

As for Avenger, it's quite clear he's talking about another topic, his sentences made that very clear, nowhere did he mentioned WXL/YY,nor indirectly implied them.

Also don't forget my reply to him: "Be careful when you use the term she-male,some people consider it highly offensive. Anyway, how to pass the gender test? So no-go."

Thanks for your alert and concern.:)

    If I am LYB:

    My Final team:

    WS1 : WYH
    WD1 : YY/WXL
WS2: WX (She is the only player that had not lost in her team in 2010 and 2012 Uber cup)
    WD2: TX/ZYL
    WS3: LXR

Lately, many players already know how to play WSX.

Ratchanok was just simply amazing...for an inexperienced player to perform so well in her first Uber Cup.

Her shots are similar to Indonesian shots.

Don't be surprised...the line-up could be the following:

    WS1 : WYH
    WD1 : YY/WXL
WS2: WSX (Remember the head to head record with Bae Younjoo is 6-0)
    WD2: TQ/ZYL
WS3: WX ( let her smash HHY to pieces)

Regardless of line up, it won't get as far as WS3, trust me. If CHN were to lose a point, it could be from the once seemingly invincible Yu Yang/Wang Xiaoli combo.

It was kind of a foregone conclusion that you would end up being the happier one of us.

But the prize for victory in the semis is a likely thumping by China, even more so if it is Korea, as the wounds from the Chinese loss a couple of years ago will be fresh in their memories.
WYH does look beatable though. Still, Cutier HHY will almost certainly be warming the bench again.

Perhaps now it is so. But HHY was once as good as Eriko Hirose in her prime.

If I remember correctly, in the Uber cup finals two years ago, the 3rd singles was not played.

Even Eriko Hirose is no longer in her prime .....

Nonetheless, I still have memories of sharing the hotel transport with HHY, going shopping in Senayan City Mall during the Indonesian Open Super Series.

2012 Uber and Thomas Cups: Many top players will be retiring after this Wuhan event

    .
IMHO, this 2012 Uber Cup tournament could be the last one for both Eriko and HHY.

For this 2012 Thomas Cup, it's also the last one for our current 4 Heavenly Kings; LCW, LD, PG and TH.

Fortunately, we shall find other top players replacing them (for their respective countries).
