Thanks for the update Suetyan. I was watching the whole footage in rage. Here, WX goes down, obviously hurt and the commentator rattles away about its affecting SN, then goes to add the doctors arent suppose to treat WX ( against the rules...bla bla bla). Olympic Spirit ??

I understand your frustration but only when you are a Wang Xin fan if you become neutral you would realize these are so common tactics which have been used quite often by a tired player to get an unfair advantage and regroup herself. If it looks genuine no issues, It only gets bad when you do too much of it... If she wasnt tiring and asked for the same thing nobody would have complained but otherwise it looks like the player wants to buy time. Complaining is kind of considered an excuse, its an unfair advantage if someone gets an extra break out of the game to regroup and its a very common ploy as well. So you never know you yourself must be holding up the spirit while your opponent just uses your goodwill and robs you off your medal.

Everybody tends to judge whats happening with the conscience and past experiences and till the time it looked so to the commentators, hence they were right, you cant let anyone get away with foul tactics and moreso going against the rules they had to do that, by the moment they realized that it was genuine everyone felt sorry for Wang, to even out what they wrongly assumed as a ploy for a few moments.

Its a very unfortunate moment for Wang and lets hope & wish she has a speedy recovery and gets back to the court soon, completely recoverd.

Like seriously, can fans tell Nehwal to be humble ? She never change. A player just injured herself and gave her the bronze and she had the guts to say "I am going to win anyway since she is tired"

That's why I say she will never be a great player....no respect.

No not when the country has been known to use all its trick up its sleeves, their record has been so.. + their coaches/players have accepted and disqualified for doing the same... Dont you expect them to do it again... it was so obvious if it were a ploy...

and was very unfortunate to actually happen... This was the rare 1 right case amongst the 1000 wrong ones they might have done... Dont you think your reputation follows you wherever you go?

Saina is being very humble in attributing her medal to luck. she engaged in long rallies which clearly tired her opponent who was gasping for breath before her knee gave out.
Its unfortunate for Wang Xin but her injury aggrevated coz she needed to do that bit more... so you cant take anything away from SN as well.

And bydaway if you dont know shez already a great player and has lots of respect...:p Even the CHN WS respect her by training specially for her. With the endorsements shez gonna get after coming back from olympics she"ld get even bigger and for the fans she has got loads of it... It becomes easier in India when you have only a handfull of world class athletes... tht too if you include all the sports :D!!

But looks you want her to take the place of an all time Best Badminton athlete in the world... that requires some more sweating and results from her...
