and the indian golden boy is out of the games, i was expecting a great match from both of them, but is not even better from the previous sperseries match
If so then it will be an opportunity for Li Xuerui to do an OLympic revanche to her recent defeat in Jakarta.... or an Olympic reaffirmation of Saina's reign over her! must be quite interesting then
this semi-final win by WYH will certainly bruise the pride of the arrogant and ignorant Indian masses and media.
SN lost to WYH not long ago. I think LXR and WX will fight their own glory in the second semifinal. Personally LXR will have better chance to win and give us a dream final. I don't think WX can beat WYH but LXR potentially can.
Indian golden boy was the lowest ranked of the quarter-finalists, and the only unseeded player there. It was totally expected that he'd be the first to go home. But I must say he hasn't played better in his life.
seems like China will earn all the medal colors in women's singles... factually they will do it beating their men's compatriot for sure
Well, a clinic Wang Yihan showed up at semifinal, poor Saina Nehwal. There are so many smash clipped the lines from Yihan and that's tremendous. I thought Saina will get better chance after lead 11-10 at 2nd game interval but instead it was Yihan who keep on attacking and Saina didn't do better by force wide and long couple times, can't blame her though, she needs to be perfect in every shots and that's not easy with today's pressure in semifinal. Congrats CHN with their 2nd gold, they are still on course to clean sweep the gold. Commies for Saina Nehwal and her fans.
Those who don't like Chinese players, here's a very reassuring fact. China will DEFINITELY lose in the Mixed Doubles finals, and Women's Singles Finals.
after just watching the amazing Yihan-Saina blitzkrieg match, the following match between WX-LXR appears as if a second grade one
anyone who ends up in the bronze play off is likely to beat Saina. Saina would have only had a chance at a medal if she was against Wang ShiXian in the playoff. But Wang ShiXian is not here today, so it's definitely an all-China clean sweep of medals.
