2012 Malaysia Open SS: Sat 14-Jan (Semi-Finals)

So, Rudy, who is the fuxk guy to let Chen Jin retire and a fresh Tago to go final play LCW?

I am sure CJ would continue playing if he could as he needs the OLY WR points and just to get into the final would have more points closing in to PG. Even though KT is rested, and LCW played 3-sets, adrenalin rush and eyeing history making 8th MO Champion title would carry LCW through. I can't see KT stopping LCW unless KT played the best baddy of his life and LCW form drop a notch.

Hmm....

So Chen Jin retire...

Is this part of the 'GREAT' plan by LYB or what ?

Lose on purpose not to give LCW the confidence by beating him in final ?

LOL

Agreed. However CL does complain a lot about line calls. In the match today, I think there were no dubious calls.
But that s how CHN cheats. They complain a lot about line calls and hope that the umpire will give them one, which can be just enough. CL simple? Must be kidding. Look at the way he treats the shuttle when he loses a point. Worse than Nathan Robertson. And asking for floor mop to stop LCW s winning momentum, and it worked! Lousy umpire!

I heard the rumour, Liu Feng Yen had told LYB to "tone down" match fixing as Liu is now part of Badminton Asia head...dont know if it is true or not...

honestly, the xd in 2nd round and match between wsx and wx is real
but not the match where li xue rui lost

lcw unforce error show his level of confident
he almost never commit unforce error against others but when he play chen long and lin dan, tons
today match is basically ugly, more than 30 unforce error through out the match,i can bet with u
chen long only need to score 5 or 6 point and then he won the 2nd set
kenichi tago is in great form and i wont surprise if my fave will upset home favourite
i am with tago tomorow,so it is 2 against 10000

agree. CL is a simple player, just plays badminton and no funny antics. also not the type that plays a lot of mind games unlike PG who complain about every tiny thing. purely just good badminton. hopefully he will keep it up and he will own badminton after ld/lcw retires.

PG does that often to get himself more time to rest and annoy the youngsters.

So guys, after two tournaments back-to-back, what's the score gap between Peter Gade and Chen Jin now as it stands now ? Oh Include Sho Sasaki too, I think he catching real quick

Yes, someone did mention in yesterday's thread that CJ played against JOJ on a bad ankle and basically went for one shot kills instead of his usual grind 'em down style. It sounds like he must have aggravated it to the point of needing to retire. With so many OG points within his grasp he must have been genuinely injured.

50% increase.
Make it 3 against 10000 :p

And to be honest I can't even open my TV to watch the channel 9 broadcast... it's just too depressing...
It seems everytime I flick there a wicket of India falls....
And it annoys me to no end seeing Peter Siddle smiling like a clown and looking at that arrogant Brad Haddin having a dumb laugh.
Just personal thoughts :p...
I do enjoy Hilfenhaus, Pattinson, Harris and Starcs bowling though :p.
Ever since the England debacle, I keep wondering what role Fletch has in all of this.... something not gelling back there...

i posted earlier, Sasaki is still 4000 behind CJ after this t'ment;
yes, boss.

A run through on the day before the SF;
With yet another early exit of PG, Chen Jin is on course to the final and earns valuable OLY points.
As it stand, CJ is way behind PG, over 3000 points.

Jorgensen with 2 QFs in a row is now overtook Vittinghus by 4000 points, looks safe for Denmark’s MS2.

As for the MD, unfortunately Kido/Setiawan didn’t took advantage of the weaken field can only managed a QF place thus still are 2000 points behinds their younger team mates. Really love to see Kido/Setiawan have a chance to defense their title.

And the XD, The British pair Robertson/Wallwork again failed to capitalise their first round victory over Adcock/Bankier and still 5000 points behind. Their chance for qualification is rapidly fading away.

Dont worry, Nathan Robertson for his personality and ego is too afraid to end his career having failed to qualify for the OG 2012. He has a significant influence/position in the National team and will do whatever he can to serve his purpose eventhough compromising other's chances of qualifying. Adcock/Bankier are not too far ahead in terms of rankings so Nathan might play dirty to kick them out in their place..Just guessing :D

the reason they are behind in ranking is, how should i put it? useless.
Bankier is million of years ahead of Wallwork in every departments. Ok, Adcock definitely needs to work on his attack. But I rather have a youngster with room for improvement than the well pasted his best by date Robertson any day.

Robertson has had his day. Wallwork is pretty useless.

Need I say more.

Wow, was pretty tired after coming back from the stadium so late :D
Glad that LCW won, but I thought that the people weren't very sportsman-like, boo-ing Chen Jin when he was injured as well :(

The fastest smasher now is Zhang Jun from China, no longer Rexy, 500+ kmh

Also one thing I didn't really like are some comments between people talking to each other when LCW loses a point, they thought that they can make decisions better than LCW, lol.
