You have to check out how this young lady plays when you got the chance. Don't be fooled by her small frame.

I was impressed by how she played at the semi finals. She has the speed, technique and graceful footwork all combined in the petite body of a young 16 years old. Sayaka was definitely the more powerful player (taller as well)and fitter one but she was way more nervous than Busanan. The most impressive thing about Busanan is she is not intimidated by this final, trying all those out of the world cross court shots during crucial match. If she keeps improving, WS will be very interesting in the coming 4-5 years time.

What do you know? I'm now watching the finals on the MAS Channel 118. The Thai girl, 16 years of age, came from behind to snatch the winner from the luckless 19-year old Japanese. This gritty young Thai resembles a little of our Fu Mingtian.

Now comes the all-MAS MD final. Both KKK and TBH look heavier than their younger compatriots 0w and Chooi.

I am just following from the Live Score.
I am very very impressed with the Thai girl. . . never give up attitude.
1st set she came back from 5-10 down to win 21-17.
And, 2nd set, she came back from 12-19 to win 22-20.
    WOW wow wow.

What test are you talking about? LCW has been WR1 for more than 3 years. He just turns up and play and he reaches two finals. That s an excellent benchmark.( Some other champion has often just turned up and played and get stopped in R1.) How can such a consistent WR1 be damaged psychologically by just one match like you hope for. Losing a match just means the opponent has improved beyond expected by the non-preparations. No big deal but good for opponent! Your perception of LCW is outdated. Time to move on.

agree. LCW can pretty much win any tournament at will and with ease these days, unless if LD is present, of course.

Ah, disappointing performance from Chooi/Ow. As expected, Chooi made too many errors.

any opinion on Clementi Sports Hall - rumour has it that, the courts are very windy mostly in the afternoon? True?
Thinking of holding a Tourney either at Hougang SC or Clementi SC, 8 - 10 teams (sudden death), done in ONE day.
appreciate the opinions on the courts from fellow kaki.

Thought you're from Spore, isnt there a channel which turns in to Msian free TV? Those who can get TV1 are watching on TV. No sure which website, the usual sites posted in livestream thread not working?

Eek, didn't watch the aunties until the last 2 points, great comeback from so many points down. Some retirement money for them! :) Congratulations!
