:D:D:D That's how the bookies make their money from punters.

That's why I never place BIG bets; but only small bets (just for fun - since I am following the events).

Most gamblers start with small bets and end up in BIG trouble. Be careful, Chris.

When it comes to $$$ related matters we shall listen to no other than OTB.;) The bloke who'd already began to see the real world at a very tender age, worked his butt out as a coolie during the day (and a playboy at night:p) and got emigrated to Canada where he is currently enjoying the finer stuff in life... Simply put it he'd been there, done that and seen it all.

The wise man has spoken again. Business is of course important but ultimately what makes the day is collection.:D

    Filte,
Can't say any better than what you wrote:D but playboy and enjoy finer stuff in life, that is a wee little bit incorrect, however I wish there are true:p BTW, you forget to mention the good looking part but broke when OTB was once a young lad in 70's MAS:crying:

    Chris,
I intend to poke fun in my post on betting but 'big betts' as in max CAD$200:D. Okay, I do played big once-upon-a-long-time in stock and I came out okay, now closing in towards retirement, I abstain and ain't do no more speculative except those almost cannot miss type. On playing stock, my advice is do your homework, play only if you can afford to lose with extra money and can sleep even if you lose and not to play that if you lose, you will be broke. Always, make sure your health can take the stress;)

It was my intention not to mention it (good looking) as it is what you claimed only. Can show us some photos here? Never mind the black and white quality.:p Really looking forward to see the young OTB with his high cut boots, leather jacket and full-face helmet on the Honda cub!!:D

For those betting stuff, a sure fire way to win some moolah is during the SF stage where LD should meet either CL or CJ. You know where to place your bets;) although I believe the odds on LD to win would be extremely marginal.

Thanking kelana for the info. :):):)

Initially, I went to their global site. Perhaps they have redirected me to our Australian site when I sent them AUD$20 (so that I would be ready to place my bets and to follow their live-streaming). :D:D:D

    By Ian Ransom
    LONDON, 2012 July 26

(Reuters) - Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei, one of the few genuine threats to China's ambitions in the men's badminton, is still scrambling to be fit for his first-round match at the London Games after suffering a serious ankle injury.

"I'm not 100 percent recovered. I feel I'm training better and now about 90 percent recovered," the former world number one said at the Wembley Arena. "I know there is a lot of pressure but now I feel less pressure because of my injury.

"But this is my third Olympics and my final Olympics so gold is very important to me and my career."

Malaysia have won all of their Olympic medals in badminton and have pinned their hopes on the team winning the country's first gold medal at London.

Lee, top seed here, raised hopes of breaking Malaysia's drought by reaching the final in Beijing, but was obliterated by Chinese Lin Dan and had to settle for silver.

Lee remains Malaysia's greatest hope of gold but suffered a major setback in his preparations when he was sidelined for weeks after hurting his ankle in a Thomas Cup match in May.

Lin and a clutch of other dominant Chinese, including world number three Chen Long and fourth-ranked Chen Jin, are likely to stand in the way of Lee's title hopes.

Although topping badminton's rankings for much of his career, the 29-year-old Lee has never clinched an Olympic, world or Asian Games title, a gap on his resume he has long rued.

"I believe he can (win gold)," his team manager Chin Chai said. "His desire must be very strong. If he makes it to the semi-finals his chances are strong."

Lee faces Finland's Ville Lang in his first-round match on Monday before a potential round of 16 clash with Indonesia's world number six Simon Santoso.

The July 28-Aug. 5 Olympic badminton tournament starts on Saturday at Wembley Arena.
