The taller JPN girl has hardly had a touch this game. The smaller one is being targeted

LOL, I wouldn't call that targetting their opponents when they have gotten only 2 points in the game.

Can't say much about the quality of this match. At one stage they had a 10 stroke clearing exchange

JPN player too hasty and the Koreans are creeping back 14-15

After a fast flat rally, LYD kills at the net. KOR draws even 15-15

A big push at the end carries the Koreans over the line 21-16

Kenichi had an earlier match, in the XD, but so had Lee Yong Dae.

Not really. They were nowhere near their best and I think the JPN defence and determination surprised them a little. In the end their experience carried them through

Schenk wins easily 21-12, 21-14. Thought Aprilla would have put up more resistance.

Does it seem like the courts are too close together? Unless the Overview Cam is deceiving me, I find that so. Also no partitions (advertising boards) between courts and only plastic tables for players to put their bags on

For one the picture is 720x576 (5:4 instead of regular 4:3) and how close is too close? It's definitely not to close in regulations standard ...
:D 4:3 actually makes it look even narrower; those tables are miles better than those silly baskets you have to bend down for and hardly fit the bags (imo)

On a sidenote I've also noticed Court 4 has been streaming from a different server instead of ustream like the other courts ...

It is recommended that there shall be at least two meters (61⁄2 feet) clear space surrounding all the outer lines of the court, this space also being a minimum requirement between any two courts marked out side by side.

Interesting match coming up on Court 1 (if it works)

OK, maybe it's the TV angle. I've seen birds from one court fly into another at a higher rate than normal

Court 1 still offline. Looks like we'll have to watch it through the Overview Cam
