    Jang Ye Na/Kim Min Seo are doing ok against the slightly higher ranked pair Carola Bott/Karin Schnaase (GER). 11-7 at the interval.

    I really cannot endorse this guy as a national level player. Doesn't have the penetration to beat 3rd tier players (like Abian). Is the state of MS badminton in MAS that bad?

    The JPN boys are more than holding their own against LYD/JJS. Playing with a combination of solid defence and fast drives.

    Same problem last year. But at least it's a better service by the organisers than the other tournaments.

    LYD had multiple opportunities at the net to kill the bird but resolute JPN defence keeps him at bay. 20-20

    On the other hand, JJS's defence is less than stellar. JPN 21-20

    So many uncharacteristic mistakes by the Koreans and the JPN pair finally make them pay 25-23

    Court 2 is going to finish first, so I have a 67% chance of getting to watch the Japanese WD pair [​IMG].
