Just now i read in the news, Simon said that he was ready to fight with Chen Jin tomorrow. Simon lost tamely in their last encounter in AG (Simon is injured that time). Hopefully Simon will redeem his defeat in AG tomorrow!

Rendy/Afiat struggling to beat Luluk/Chandra in 3 sets. They will face Bona/Ahsan tomorrow. One spot secured in QF!

Finally, Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan manage to beat their higher-ranked super senior Luluk Hadiyanto/Candra Wijaya 21-17, 16-21, 21-18; despite trailing 12-17 in the rubber-set! Mission accomplished and 3600 ranking pts in the pocket. Tomorrow, they will face their Pelatnas senior Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan for a place in the last 8. By next week, both Rendy/Afiat as well as Angga/Rian will be ranked in the top 50.

I hope these 2 pairs can reach top 25 soon enough!

    30-29!

*MAS had just checked in their 2nd representative to 2nd round as Fairuz/OSH got a walkover. I think the only 'real' wins can come from LCW and KKK/TBH... rest all TAK BOLEH.

good to create another thread for ccc to publish to. At least the discussions on the main thread is smoother... ;) no hiccups. ;)

looks like psh is ahead. WMC tough battle. So far so good, even if she looses. ;)

I think Vita/Nadya are going to lose. I was not impressed with Nadya when I watched them lose to Duang-Anong Arunkesorn/Kunchala Voravichitchaikul in the HKG SS last mth! She just made too many errors!

The same happens for this match I believe as the INA pair wasted a huge lead right at the end of the second-set, with just 3 more pts to seal the match, only to lose it 29-30 and wasted 4 match pts also in the process!
