Unbelievable. Hayom lost in the rubber-set to Shon Wan Ho, despite leading 11-5 at the break. This shows that INA players can easily lost their focus, especially when leading big time. Happened so many times and ended up with disappointing results most of the times!

Komala Dewi/Suci Rizky Andini also begin their partnership with a victory over the veteran pair of Lotte Jonathans/Paulien Van Dooremalen 21-18, 21-18. They will face an uphill task against Wang Xiaoli/Yu Yang [6] tomorrow.

Matches involving INA players will resume tonight at 7pm with the all-INA match between Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan vs Luluk Hadiyanto/Candra Wijaya. I hope the youngster can surprise us! A total of 7.5 matches (if you include Lita Nurlita's WD match) tonight and I am only expecting 4 to progress to R16.

Tommy Sugiarto and Anneke Feinya Agustine/Nitya Krishinda Maheswari are almost certain to lose to Lee Chong Wei [1] and Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei [8] respectively, while it will be a tough match for Tantowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir [8] against Xu Chen/Yu Yang.

A quick round-up of matches in the morning and afternoon:
    7 wins and 4 losses.
