It was not a convincing victory but at least Tantowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir win their 2nd title in 2 weeks. That will lift them up to no 4 next week in the rankings. A nice 7000 pts to start the Olympics qualification too.

Richard Mainaky still need to work on the pair's nerves, esp when meeting the top XD pairs from CHN and Europe. I still think it's very difficult for Towi/Butet to beat Zhang/Zhao, Tao/Tian, Xu/Ma, He/Yu, Fischer-Nielsen/Pedersen, Laybourn/Rytter-Juhl, Mateusiak/Zieba, or even Robertson/Wallwork. These are arguably the pairs that Towi/Butet will need to beat to convince us that they have a chance for a medal at next year's London Olympics.

We need to wait till next month's Singapore and INA SS.

But, Towi/Butet and Fran/Pia will definitely be earning some Olympics pts at the Sudirman Cup, regardless of INA's chance. They will need to consolidate their position in the top 8 of the ranking table by next April 2012.

CPS's service is so predictable, every single one of his serves are flick serves in the rubber game =.= He lost all confidence in his serve.

Malaysians were in a slump, only woke up and got back their semangat towards the end. Congrats to Tantowi/Lilyana for winning the title and good job to CPS/GLY for the fight.

I think Alvent/Hendra will win. They seem much steadier now compared to last year. KKK/TBH are not in form.

This is where experience comes in. CPS/GLY still some way to go before matching 1st XD pairs from INA,Korea, China.
