Taufik is really making life difficult for himself. After having established another 5 pts lead at 16-11, he let the CHN player catch up again.

Even if he manages to win today, I don't see how Taufik can get past a more motivated Lee Hyun Il.

Taufik Hidayat [3] eventually takes the match 21-16 in the rubber-set. Lee Hyun Il beckons tomorrow and at this kinda of form, the Korean will win in 2 sets.

Probably because of the change in weather? It was still hot in Macau yesterday (28 degree C). Today, it drops to only around 15-16 now. Tomorrow, it's gonna be even colder at 13.

nevermind for CPS/GLY lost in Macau Open, it just GP tournament. The Super Series (Premier) is the big thing for them to gain more point and improve their world ranking.

I would say Lee Hyun-Il, The Master Defender, is a tough nut to crack for 90% of the players, even the top 10% are caught off-guard on their not-so-good-but-not-necessary-off-days.

The old habits still affect INA players most of the times. Simon once again let slip 3 match pts at the end of the second set and ended up losing 22-24.
