Yes, Toby has only about 30 minutes rest between the Singles and Mixed Doubles matches. Good Luck to Toby/Grace who are probably playing Game 2 now (in their XD).

In my PAW Game, I am doing OK up to now - 4 correct out of 5 entries.

Leaving BC now. See you folks later (about 12 hours later).

    Distraught! :crying:
Toby/Grace lost their match against Sa Rang Kim/Hye In Choi of Korea in straight games, 20-22, 10-21. If only the scheduling for Toby's matches could have been more thoughtfully planned... :(

They had a great chance to go into the finals, maybe even win. This is pathetic!!!

Oh dear. But I had been thinking it might have been quite difficult anyway. You never know the dark horses.

Ah well; onwards and upwards! :D Put it down to another "learning experience" :D
And your point is also so very true especially nowadays, too much depth and strength going way down deep in the rankings. Can't take anything for granted...

    But Han and Chen
    Showed up, and then
    The Livescore window just hung.

Nope. Don't blame the scheduling. They knew of the scheduling. I think Toby did not really try to win the singles(20 minutes play only). It is not his main focus to play single.

Anyway, hope he read this and maybe reply. I think credit still goes to the korean pairs. They are not that bad and maybe home ground advantage

Good news for badminton in general! (and I mean it, sincerely! :))

Mongolia has more entries in this tournament (4: 3 singles, 1 doubles) than Philippines 2 (1 singles, 1 doubles)
