Another walkover! Alvent/Hendra won after leading 11-9 in G2 over their TPE opposition

Maybe it's time other team copying LYB strategy, since it's so comforting :p:p:D:D

Mitani is no where as polished, or has the potential as Noz. Fransiska should expect to beat Mitani. She also tends to get down on herself when the chips are down.

Japanese players have done pretty well so far today.
Mitani is not having a very good match however, against Ratnasari. She is about to lose in straight games...

Wrong, Arif is the same batch as Kenichi Tago and Chen Long, 22.

Whats up with Towi/Lily? How come they lost by such comfortable margins to Nova/Vita?

Daren has zero reason to give walkover as he has a good chance to reach the QF this time. Why did he do it? Order to give Misbun's son more ranking points?

I think he was really injured.

In a near collapse of Hafiz-like proportions, Fransiska, at 20-11, handed the game away to Mitani who levelled at 20-20, and then let Fransiska off the hook to fall 21-23.

    Can anyone say yo-yo?

Finally, Nana seals the match, 21-18 / 23-21. Good fighting spirit by Mitani, particularly at second game after trailing 11-20 and took 9 consecutive points to force deuce.

Why is Fransiska Ratnasari called "Nana?"
