Can the JPN pair make a comeback again in the 2nd set like in the 1st set? I guess there will be a rubber set. 17-11 now.

This time Robert/Gabrielle didn't blow their lead again and won the 2nd set 21-16. So we'll have rubber set for the MX final.

Symmetry in scoreline, 16-21 21-16. The PAWers seem to be equally polarised too, LOL.

Doubt that Reiko/Shintaro can make a comeback and win the rubber set. Robert/Gabrielle leads 17-11 now. I think Robert/Gabrielle win win.

I feel sorry for the Japanese, but it was Europe's only chance to get a title in this tournament :D

That was probably Japan's best shot for a title. Hope Ayane can overcome the odds against Liu Xin.

I hope so too. If she can make it, it will show Japan's strength one more. They're definitely on their way to getting a spot amongst the big nations.

I couldn't believe this is the score played by the Japanese pair against the Koreans! 21-6 to the Japanese in the first set. The Japanese pair play very well in the first set. Hopefully they can continue this kind of play in the second set.
