Bye bye perfect PAW record [IMG].

:D Just noticed the "cry" emoticon has been removed, must've been all used up already given the number of times I've seen it around here :p.

allo fren, you put malaysian in misery lah when you expect those 2 tier players to do well. Better don't even talk about them. Think of them as if they don't exist. Less stress.. lol. ;)

People from other countries will put you in further misery... ;)

I haven't seen him on court, but have been following him :)
After all, he managed to defeat Chan Kwong Beng last year in the Chinese Taipei Open. He has overtaken Iskandar probably =.=" Because of our 'friend'...
He is 20 this year right?

So LHI is back full time with the korean squad now? Seemed like he dispose Tanongsak easily.

I think its about time to replace the MAS 2nd tiers player with their junior counterparts.....

    Singapore Girls doing well

I just looked at the results on Day 2 and was pleasantly surprised that a few of our girls went past Round One, with two of them beating seeded players too: :)

    Mingtian Fu[IMG][SIN] -[IMG][RUS] Ella Diehl [4]20-22 21-8 21-6[IMG]0:54

    Jiayuan Chen[IMG][SIN] -[IMG][THA] Porntip Buranaprasertsuk10-21 21-18 21-17[IMG]0:47

    Juan Gu[IMG][SIN] -[IMG][KOR] Youn Joo Bae [2]16-21 21-12 21-17[IMG]0:51

I think Gu Juan has somewhat redeemed herself by defeating Bae #2. Gu has not been doing well in her recent encounters.

Fu Mingtian also exceeded all expectations by knocking out Ella #4!

And I was overwhelmed when our youngest Chen Jiayuan managed to beat the higher ranked and more experienced Porntip.

At least one Singapore Girl will advance to the next round when Fu meets Chen today and my bet is on senior Fu to win.

But where is Xing Aiying?

Had Zhang Beiwen been more disciplined, she would have been here and perhaps made a name for herself too. But now she may even be dropped from the Singapore squad for ill-discipline at home.

CHN coach Luan Jin must have been doing an outstanding job on our girls! :D
