2011 French Open SS: Round 2 Thursday 27-October

Let's see who are the players who will move to the Quarter-Finals (to gain more valuable qualification points for the coming 2012 Olympic Games).

Previously, I have given links for Live Streaming, but not all countries can share the links. Perhaps some BCers from different countries can post their links that are working for their regions.

Two less participants after today? If really two, hopefully KKK/TBH can replace one of them. Haha.
Better still, sacrifice one KKK/TBH in exchange for two of them!!

Of the two, Goh/Lim may stand a chance ! yesterday FU/CAI alomost lost to young Korea pair GWC/YGK in 3 tied sets. Goh/Lim has beaten this young Korea pair in the previous two meetings. May be FU/CAI already exhausted as age is catching up !
The last time Goh/Lim meet with FU/Cai was in Asia badminton championship, April 2011 in Sichuan china. Fu/Cai won the game in two tied sets : 24- 22 and 21- 17 ! Very close !

Hi, welcome to BC :) Looking at your username, surely you're Liliyana die-hard fans :D

Entering R/16, INA has 7 representatives, all in doubles category as both TH & Tommy were eliminated yesterday. Will all of them still survive and through to last eight?

Wang SX is going thru what Wang YH ver1 went thru before. And now Wang YH emerged stronger and steadier than before. Can Wang SX do the same soon? I'm not so sure because she is basically a stroke player, a bit too passive and defensive,as well as minus a good hard smash as a killer shot. She said she needed to develop a unique playing style - wonder what that means other than a complete all-rounder able to attack, defend and counter-attack equally well; and attack with a lethal smash is where she is lacking most.

I bet all the MAS players would not survive in R16 today and all of them get busted...

Indeed Kim Ki-jung XD match played too late last night, today he's scheduled to play first match, certainly not fully recovered...
