persson ..... Persson is such a lazy player. Really let his teammates down.. It's clear he wasn't even 'match fit' for this TC competition. In that match, it looked like Persson did not practice any decent shots before this event, let alone having any fighting spirit. Just riding his luck as the 3rd ranked Danish MS player in the team. This is MAS's gain. Atleast HH practices beforehand as a Professional that he is paid for. ....
but but but.... what about the hard working team mates... the likes of chongwei and kkk/tbh? its a team competition anyway...
okhaaaaay... INDONESIA 'n MALAYSIA should do their best to beat CHINA.... itz so boring widh CHINA's power in badminton,hupfh... LOL!
he shld go back germany and play soccer instead.... he practically gave the game away to hafiz sending the shuttle out and into the net..
Well done Hafiz.. but sadly to say that this Friday will be the end of the road for Malaysia too.. Looking forward to watch LD vs LCW as its been some time since their last meeting.
i agreed he didnt play like a professional player standard.. more like school standard. sad for denmark
That is the beauty of sport...despite what Abedeng said that Persson gifted the match away, HH played very well, good control...hope he play this way against prettyboy Bao, that would be a great game but you never know if HH yo-yo is up or down. If MAS wins MS1 and MD1 and up 2-0 against mighty CHN, I cannot even imagine the scene in the stadium. But if either one lose, then series no hope.
No disrespect to Hafiz, because I do believe he tries his best now for every match. But to call him a hero in such an anti-climax is not quite it. Frankly, failure would be good medication for Malaysia. Makes BAM more adaptable to youth development and strategic planning, and ensuring that team selection is fully on merit. When we left two of our better players at home in the 1958 campaign, Indonesia wrested the cup from us. But when we embarked on a strategic program to wrest the Thomas Cup, our technically inferior team made it after 4 years of hard work.
