[IMG] Germany v Poland could be extremely close, had rather PAWed on UC Denmark than leave this one in. Poland could win both doubles and MS3 and perhaps Wacha was saving up for this one :D.

Bookies don't dictate seedings. We have official BWF rankings to do that for us.

Usually, bookies are more accurate. Rankings, although the only way to rank players fairly, can be misleading as it depends on certain conditions. The rankings may rank LCW higher than LD, but bookies will probably do the reverse.

However, I am surprised that this time, I seem to be in complete disagreement with the bookies. I would have given higher odds to MAS compared to INA and DEN.

Well maybe the bookies consider MAS' home advantage... But Denmark seems very underrated... Can be a good betting investment though... hahaha :)

As far as I understand from the rules (http://www.internationalbadminton.org/page.aspx?id=10513, Part III Section 3 Thomas & Uber Cups), before the QF, the 4 group-topping teams will be seeded 1 to 4, with 1 and 4 seeds at different halves. The other teams will be drawn to any of the 4 slots.

So, assuming CHN, DEN, MAS, INA topping their groups, CHN and INA will be separated, MAS and DEN will be drawn to different halves and KOR could play CHN again in the QF (0.25 chance of that). All 4 teams want to avoid KOR in QF. CHN and INA want to avoid DEN in SF. MAS and DEN want to avoid CHN in SF. We will know who gets their wish on Tue night. Good luck, everyone.

Rena Wang is not bad. She just needs to play more, and with time, if she does not give up badminton, she will improve.

Well, well, now lets see Tee Jing Yi ;) I think a much closer match will take place here.

Tee Jing Yi seems to be the power type! But she is young and inexperienced :)
