A little bit of both. But I won't be surprise if Indonesia give better resistance than fellow Malaysian players. I do think Indonesian players have better mental toughness just like the Koreans.
Thanks. I couldn't pick it up. I have heard him commentate many years ago. The accent is different to what I remember...more TV friendly
Yes. I like both of them (with Gill Clark) commenting together. At the same time, they would give us some tips and ideas on how to play better badminton shots...
Oh, another name! I've never heard Ian Stuart speak though. I was thinking it's very impressive to change one's accent so well!!
Among the semi-finalists, I would rate : 1) China 2) Indonesia 3) Malaysia 4) Japan Looks like even Denmark had faced China instead, they wouldn't manage to steal a point with China in this dominating form...
I did not realize, good point. You're right Indonesia is Asia Qualifications Winner for the Thomas Cup and Korea is the Asian Qualification Winner for the Uber Cup Winner.
I probably would have thought the same if I hadn't heard Ian mentioned a few times. Just had a listen back and it was in fact Ian Wright (former england head coach).
Damn you demolidor, I was just about to say Ian Wright! I agree he is a great commentator... I heard him before, don't recall where. Maybe it was AE10 coverage.
from tournamentsoftware TH vs LD 3-6 ( i think they meet more than 9 times) MK/HS vs CY/FHF 3-3 SS vs CH 0-4 (sandy say Simon ever beat Chen JIn at Asian Games team event 2006) AYC/HAG vs CX/GZ 0-1...i dont think INA will play AYC/HAG DHR vs BCL 0-1
Yes, big tournaments like AE, World Championships, Olympics and Thomas Cup, he will be commenting together with Gill...otherwise, only Gill alone will be the commentator...
