Russian Uber Cuppers are digging in, seated just beside me. Such beauty, though of course different stock from Korean cuties. The Russian secret, they ate mostly salads.

A lot of how this final is going to develop depends on Simon, if he were placed at MS2. A very depressing place to be especially if you are down 0-2. Even Wang Xin struggled to beat a not-fit Sung Ji Hyun.

Actually INA does not need MAS crowd support at all. During the INA vs MAS Uber match, INA crowd outcheered the MAS crowd because they are more organised and focused on what they are cheering. Most times, I can't hear clearly what MAS is cheering but with INA, it's always very clear and simple : IN-DO-NE-SIA! It's quality that counts.
There's little support from the local crowd for CHn except from CHN nationals. But CHN does not have to worry. They trained their team to cheer for their players. Does anyone really think CHN players win their matches on their own, without team cheering? In his match vs PSH, the moment LD's score hit 15, team CHN started chanting 'Lin Dan, Jia You'.
Having said that, i believe the MAS crowd will be behind INA.LD's very unpopular with the MAS fans, poor chap. But I rather the MAS fans keep out of it because they may mess up the INA cheer.

That's TH record until 2008, before he left PBSI. Now in 2010, so far he won all his matches in TC Asian qualifying and TC final.

hallelujah pjswfit, u just helped BAM solve their big mess. By just cheering louder and more coherent than the chinese team, MAS or any other teams can beat china. Way to go pjswift. U unearthed the secret formula to beat china. Attagirl.

U r right, LD is also not very popular in china too so how can LD be popular in MAS? On the record in one 08 OG thread, u explained how the cheering chinese fans in beijing 08 OG badminton match were told to or paid to jia you, and LD is not popular in china at all. The local taxi driver told u so if i may recall.

I am not supporting China for this reason, I am supporting China because

I am rational and unemotional and hope to see good badminton instead of bad sportsmanship. I believe China is the best team and the real deal and should desrve what they worked and prpared for. Go China go and dispel the myth of cheap miracles.

Totally agree. INA actually has the quality to beat anyone plus being an underdog will proof an advantage, so lets keep it that way :)
