Yes, Li Xuerui is no easy nut to crack. Taking her all the way was a commendable effort by Maria Kristin Yulianti. I would be interested to see how far Li Xuerui can go in this Super Series tournament!

I don't think she can go far in Singapore Open although I wish she can. She has a bad draw. In the qualification round, she has to first play against MKY, then she will be playing against Cheng Shao Chieh in the afternoon. CSC is a good player some times ago. If she were able to enter the main draw tomorrow, she will be playing against Yip Pui Yin in round 32. If she won round 32, most probably she has to play against Kim Moon Hi, and if she won as well, she will be playing against Wong Mew Choo or Saina Nehwal. Sigh...

Saina must have revenge on her mind... but look who is her first round opponent, not Wong Mew Choo again! Second time in THREE days  I hope WMC can take revenge here...but so hard...

Saina lost to Li in ABC2010 semis.
But, Maria had the match within her reach.
So sad. Indeed she needs to boost her ranking points first.
Playing in qualifiers anyway drains out valuable energy that you could have used in main draw.

Yes... she seems to have a really impossible draw, but I think her skills are already in the top 10 level, but only inconsistency holds her back. Like in the BAC finals, in the first game, she was absolutely splendid, but the second and third game suddenly many errors.

Wong Mew Choo just played against Saina Nehwal on Sunday, at the final of the Indian Open GP. Tomorrow at Wednesday, she will face Saina Nehwal AGAIN.

Xuerui Li wins easily and is through to main draw.
    She should do well here.
In MS draw, I can see Mohd Hafiz name.
But he retired hurt from Indian Open a few days back. Is he playing here?

Singapore doing well in the second qualifying session, especially Ashton Chen downing Anup Sridhar and Robin Gonanza defeating Beryno Wong.

What happened to Beryno? I thought he was going to win for sure after his giant-killing (Sho Sasaki) feat.
