Humble is the way to go. BUT some members here don't see it that way. Instead they lamented on lack of colourful characteristics in badminton unlike other sports like NBA league etc.... and praised LD robotic moves as a way to promote the sport. Agreed provided LD do it each and every time he wins and in a consistent fashion. But sadly we only saw him did it once so far contrary to his countless victories in umpteen years. If he chooses certain venue and opponents to flip the pancake then its a different scenario altogether we are talking about. I am still learning to accept that.
Maybe Koo/Tan is like LD, not keen to win this SS. They are more keen to find out what's Fu/Cai like now, testing FU/Cai this and that... Koo/Tan merely preparing to meet Fu/Cai in AG... I learnt this somewhere here.
I think he would not. Its just not in his nature to do that. Also Misbun Sidek did not train him on those extremely difficult stunts.
Please don't. We don't have to lower ourselves to talk or think like them . If they enjoy finding excuses for their favourite players, let them be. At least, Lin Dan is cool without having to give excuses.
Yes, Lin Dan just frankly admitted that his stamina wasn't good enough to last him since he played in the China Masters last year, and gave credit to LCW for winning the first game.
According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, LCW is 1.74 meters tall. Mistakes do arise and once a year or two years ago, he was put as a left-hander. The commentator commented on the error.
Haha, silly typo, it's last week I made another typo in the Vietnam GP thread about the WJC years, I know the years but for some reason I made the years go one year back
It's really funny, because I thought LD had this smug look on his face for the past few months. Last Sunday he was looking constipated throughout the match
Facial expressions do tell us how a player feels . Facial expressions do tell us how a player feels; worried. confident, tired, fresh, etc, etc, ...... Many people thought that LD looked somewhat tired last Sunday. .

WX became world number 1 women's singles player late last month and won the China Masters WS title. She then played the Japan Open as the number 1 seed and world number 1 but lost in the final to JYJ 23-21, 21-18. This goes to show the pressure of being world number 1 when every one wants to beat you and you have to prove that deserve the ranking and you no longer play as you used to. WS has beaten JYJ many times but she was outplayed by JYJ in the JO final.
WR1 carries the pressure that comes with it. WX being WR1 is partly because she participate in more competitions, is a very good player and successful playing in the Open circuits, winning more and get more WR points. I think the gap between the CHN WS players are so close, that any of them can beat the other, vice versa and regardless of who win, the score are usually close. This also benefits from practicing/training together, therefore they know each other very well. JYJ is not easy to play, her stamina and speed are outstanding, matching WX.
