I didn't realize that Chandra Kowi was participating in this tournament. It's too bad that he lost the game already in qualifying round. Tony/Howard perhaps missed their biggest chance to win an open tournament last time in Singapore. It's interesting that Hendra Setiawan is pairing with Anastasia now.
Chandra has been back in INA for a few months while awaiting his working visa status. But i found his status was recently approved and supposedly, he will go back to the Bay Area soon (hopefully to play in the upcoming U.S. Open)..Halim, who is partnering Chandra, is back on his annual holiday visit.. Tony & Howard haven't won a single SS tourney. Well, partly because they haven't played together since that (some say "interesting") 2005 WC victory til last yr. Their only and latest open tourney title is last yr's U.S. Open tourney.. Anastasia has been playing with different men's doubles players since last yr (with Flandy L., Kristof Hopp and recently with Gan Tek Chai from M'sia)..
