What were the ticket prices in KK last year? Today I paid RM63 (final day) for level 1 sitting. Can't remember what were the level 2 prices today. Anyway there is only one session.

Other days there were the morning and aftenoon session tickets and there were no whole day tickets.

Next year's Super Series Masters Finals?

    .
abedeng, I got a feeling that next year's Super Series Masters Finals will be held outside Malaysia or it will be abandoned. You have been lucky to attend both of them in Malaysia.

I've always believed that this has nothing much to do with luck. Just a matter of interest and scheduling.

Anyway, this year I only got to see the final group matches and semifinals. Hoping to download the videos of the finals matches I missed.

RM63 is nothing. The most you will pay for the whole tournament is RM378 for 5 days of action.

Try RM125 for last year's final. Or RM635 for the whole tournament over 4 days. There was even a VIP pass, at a cool RM1500. Yet the stadium last year was full.

Easy victory? It was a rubber game as far as I know.

Whatever...Juliane can play better otherwise she wouldn't have beaten Saina Nehwal the day before.

That would have been the fate of the Malaysian finalists had they not won -- jumping off the roof (but with golden parachutes :D).

I thoroughly enjoyed the recorded final day matches on RTM1. Sylvia Ng was Malaysia's badminton queen of ages past; she may be very good on the court but to get her to commentate on live matches when she is not up to it really spoiled it. I had to turn the volume down as I found it irksome. No offense to those who love Sylvia but I would prefer the lone good Malay commentary throughout.

Sylvia Ng needs to practise more with the microphone

    .
:D:D:D Hehehe... Sylvia Ng needs to practise more with the microphone. She was probably asked to commentate because she was at JB.

When Sylvia and Rosalind ruled women baddy in MAS, I was at Stadium Negara watching her won, I think it was SEAP (preceed SEA) games, and I was a lad of maybe 12...now, that I am a geezer, Sylvia must be in her mid 60's, granny age...so, please be kind to granny...and if you trio see any granny crossing the street, give a hand and in a bus, give your seat to old granny...lah:p:D

I may see her and most of her brothers at my friend's place this Christmas. Maybe, will be able to ask her of her experience on this.
