You're right. Gifar and Yayu-Delis lost in tough rubber sets that lasted 52 minutes each... and with a close closing score in game 3... :p Oh well, good experience for the youngsters... ;)

Riyanto and Jenna-Oliv have moved on to play the Round of 16 later this afternoon [German time]... ;)

I do not think they are related. Reddy is a common surname in Southern India.

Can we watch live scoring of Junior German Open any place? I remember seeing Junior Dutch Open scoring on tournamentsoftware.com, but it seems all their efforts are being put in All England presently (where all Indians have already been shown the door).

BS R16 Kang Ji Wook [9/16] vs Riyanto Subagja [5/8]
GD R16 Hang Ga Hee/Lee Joo Hee vs Jenna Gozali/Rufika Olivta [3/4]

As I have said last week, the Koreans will be facing INA's players starting from Round 1. So far, 3 down already to KOR's opponents; and 2 more matches coming up later this evening. As always, 50-50 matches.

Keep an eye on Nikolaj Persson ;). Joachim Persson's little brother but playing for Germany (like Joachim also did once). And a lefty as well ...
Haven't seen him play though, only know he's the current U19 german champ.

They grew up in Germany, still live there, only Joachim moved back to Denmark. Maybe Nikolaj is even young enough to have been born there (in Germany)?

BD R16 Mohd Ulinnuha/Berry Angriawan [3/4] vs Mohd Syawal Mohd Iswail/Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin -- I think Ulin/Berry should be able to handle the MAS pair and then challenge yet another seeded Korean pair Choi Seung Il/Jun Yong Hyun in the QF tomorrow.

Not yet, she's only through to R16...which will be played later on also.
GS R16 Ayu Wanda Tika Wulandari [3/4] vs (probably) Poon Lok Yan

5 casualties in Djarum youth camp so far.:(

And Tee Jing Ye retired, most possibly due to injury.

Maybe playing 3 disciplines (GS, GD, XD) is just too much for her.
